Barjora Ashar Alo is a non-Governmental, non-profit making, non–political and philanthropic association was established in 9th May 1998.

It is registered Under West Bengal Society ACT XXVI,1961.
Registered by National Trust, Regd. No.- 2552/MR – CP/2005.
Academic Recognised By Mass Education and Library Services Department, Government of West Bengal. Vide order number 996-MEE/Sectt Dated-3/19 Nov. 2008.
Registration under FC(R) Act, 1976, Registered 80 G of the I.T. Act, 1961.

The Basic objective of the organization was to work for Special Education, Therapeutic service, clinical Service, Pre- Vocational & Vocational Training and Rehabilitation for Disabled persons of the area.
